Catherine J. Roland
Los Angeles Employment Attorney

Catherine J. Roland has quickly established herself as a fierce employment advocate. As an associate of Kesluk & Silverstein, P.C., Catherine has been personally responsible for the litigation of dozens of employment cases ranging from wrongful discharge and discrimination to harassment and retaliation. She has been involved in the settlement of several seven-figure wage and hour class actions and her hourly rate has been court-approved five times. Catherine has handled two arbitrations and a jury trial in Orange County where the jury returned a verdict for punitive damages. Prior to working for Kesluk & Silverstein, P.C., all the while exclusively representing plaintiffs, Catherine gained experience in civil rights and disability law.
Catherine earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Whittier Law School. While in law school, Catherine served as the Solicitations and Symposium Editor for Whittier Law Review and the President of the Women’s Law Students Association. Catherine is dually admitted to practice law in California and Illinois. Catherine is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to appear in front of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Catherine is also a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association.
While not practicing law, Catherine enjoys running, reading and yoga. Catherine has been with Kesluk & Silverstein since February 2010.
