Catherine Jean Roland is an experienced litigator and trial attorney who is licensed in both California and Illinois. Catherine has spent a majority of her career fiercely advocating on behalf of her clients in cases ranging from wrongful discharge and discrimination to harassment and retaliation under state and federal laws.
Catherine has successfully first and second-chaired multiple jury trials and binding arbitrations. Her first trial resulted in a plaintiff’s verdict of close to $1 million in a sexual harassment case involving two minimum wage workers who were still in their 90-day probationary period when they were terminated. As a result, Catherine received an invitation to speak on the panel for CELA Member Victories at the California Employment Lawyer’s Association’s Annual Conference. Another notable trial verdict resulted in a $1.2 million dollar judgment in a disability discrimination case.
