Niki Akhaveissy is an associate attorney at Kesluk, Silverstein, Jacob, and Morrison, P.C. Prior to joining the firm, she represented dozens of survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence in their civil legal matters at one of the largest legal aid organizations in the country. She has had significant trial and courtroom experience since she started her legal career and is sensitive to her clients’ individual needs.
Niki Akhaveissy is licensed to practice law in both California and Texas. She is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. Niki earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. While in law school, she served as the Chief Justice of the Child Advocacy Clinic where she led a team of law students in representing the best interest of their child clients in parental termination cases. She was a member of the Board of Advocates and competed in several moot court and mock trial competitions throughout law school. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin. She is fluent in Farsi.
